Fr. Dr. M. O. John
Fr. Dr. M. O. John is one of the most influential and experienced priests in the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. Recently, Achen was elected as the Priest Trustee of the Malankara Church. He is a great historian and theologian. Achen has graciously accepted the offer to serve as this year's main speaker. M.O. John Achen will be covering numerous sessions. As the main speaker, Achen will conduct inspirational classes for not only the adults, but also our young adults, youth, and children.
Dr. Donna Rizk
Dr. Donna Rizk is among the most captivating speakers of the Armenian and Coptic Orthodox Churches, a frequent speaker for young adults and teenagers. She holds a Doctorate in Theology, a Masters in Eastern Christian Studies, a Masters in Theological Studies and a B.A. in English Literature. Dr. Donna will be one of teh keynote speakers for both the MGOCSM and the FOCUS ministries of the Familiy and Youth Conference. She often is invited to speak at many Christian Retreats and Conferences. She is graduate of the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, in Brookline, MA.
Dn. Geevarghese (Bobby) Varghese
Subdeacon Bobby Varghese is one of the most intriguing speakers in our diocese, able to connect with almost every age group, especially for children. He was recently ordained to the rank of Apodyaqno, by H.G. Zacharias Mor Nicholovos Metropolitan, at St. Thomas Orthodox Church, Long Island, on May 6th, 2017. Dn. Bobby also recently graduated from St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity on May 20th, 2017. For this year's Family and Youth Conference, Dn. Bobby will serve as the Keynote Speaker for the Sunday School.
Dn. Alexander (Pradeep) Hatcher
Subdeacon Pradeep Hatcher is one of the most well known deacons of the Southwest American Diocese of America. He is a welcomed speaker especially for the youth of both the Southwest and Northeast American Dioceses. This year he has been invited as a speaker for both the MGOCSM and FOCUS ministries of the Family and Youth Conference. He is especially known for translating numerous liturgical resources, and aiding other diocesan works including the Shehimo (Daily Prayers and Vespers), Holy Qurbana (English), Slootho Recordings, Shubqono Service Recordings, and Shehimo audio recordings. Dn. Pradeep frequently serves the St. Gregorios Orthodox Mission Parish in Spokane, Washington.
